Green America was looking for assistance in upgrading their existing Drupal website, in developing an ongoing relationship with a vendor for site maintenance and ad hoc work to keep the existing site fresh and up to date, and developing better ways to funnel the site user through the website and ultimately increase their site goals.
Client Challenge
- Green America needed to update their CMS from Drupal 7 to Drupal 9
- Modules needed to be updated and some needed to be replaced
- The old Instacart module needed to be replaced
- Minor tweaks needed to be made to improve the website
The Solution
- Replaced Drupal 7 with Drupal 9
- Updated the site files and the database
- Made some major improvements to the database and fixed problematic tables
- Upgraded some plugins to better work with Drupal 9
Impact
- With Drupal 8 End of Life in 2022, Green America is now set up with their robust site well into the future
- Concessions were made by the client with how best to handle some modules and it will now be easier for staff to work with the ecommerce portion of their website
- The site is running smooth and all minor fixes have been addressed
